Coelogyne fimbriata is an Asian botanical orchid appreciated for its original flowering and easy cultivation. It produces cream to pale yellow flowers adorned with a finely fringed, very distinctive chocolate brown labellum. The flowers appear on a short inflorescence emerging from the top of the mature pseudobulb, offering a nice contrast with its bright green foliage.
Suitable for intermediate to warm cultivation, Coelogyne fimbriata enjoys good humidity and a well-drained substrate. An ideal orchid for collectors looking for a compact, floriferous, and easy-to-care-for botanical species.
Medium light, intermediate conditions, medium humidity, semi-dry watering. Compact, it is grown mounted on cork and asks for a little experience. It flowers in autumn. Its flowers are fragrant.
