Encyclia boothiana is a small orchid with flattened pseudobulbs, carrying sprays of star-shaped greenish-yellow flowers marked with mahogany brown. A compact and unusual species from Florida and the Caribbean.
Bright light, intermediate conditions, medium humidity, watering spaced out, letting the mix dry in between. Compact, it is grown potted and suits beginners. It lends itself to terrarium culture. Its flowers are fragrant.
