Gastrochilus japonicus is a miniature monopodial orchid bearing small clusters of yellow-green flowers speckled with red, with a white cup-shaped lip. A compact and graceful species to grow mounted.

Bright light, warm conditions, high humidity, watering spaced out, letting the mix dry in between. Miniature, it asks for a little experience. It lends itself to terrarium culture. Its flowers are fragrant.
