Heatpack 40 hours

The heat pack protects your plants on shipments sent before the first frost, in autumn, and after the last one, in spring, when nights turn cold.

We do not ship plants during the winter. Through the freezing months, local pickup in Laval takes over, by appointment.

When to add one

Whenever temperatures along the route are expected to drop below 10 °C. The pack is activated as your order ships and gives off gentle heat for more than 40 hours, the length of a normal transit.

What it does

• It prevents cold shock. Tropical orchids handle a sudden chill badly, even a few hours on a sorting dock.
• It limits dehydration. A steady temperature keeps the plant from drawing on its reserves to defend itself.
