Masdevallia Crystal Follansbee is an Ecuagenera hybrid registered in 2013, from Masdevallia Bella Donna and Masdevallia amabilis. Its flower is pure white, marked at the centre with a vivid magenta star, and finishes in fine pale tails. A bold contrast, uncommon among masdevallias, that carries across a room.
It enjoys medium light, cool conditions, high humidity and a mix kept evenly moist. Compact, it is grown potted and asks for a little experience.
