Masdevallia Evelina Serrano de Konanz comes from Masdevallia Peppermint Rock and Masdevallia ignea. The first parent gives it its stripes, the second its size and bearing: a large pink flower streaked with magenta in a fan, the throat yellow-orange, drawn out into a long upright tail. Its short, compact foliage sits easily in a small pot.
